The focus of Small Groups is personal and spiritual growth. In Small groups growth comes through fellowship, prayer, shared worship, deepening of relationships, and application of the sermons in community. Small groups meet on various nights of the week in member's homes. Our vision is to continue to plan new small groups so that increasing numbers of "Hopers" can be impacted by small groups The typical small group consists fo 6-12 people.

The small group ministries of Hope Free Church exist to glorify God through...

  •         Providing a vehicle for winning souls to Christ (Evangelism)
  •         Providing a vehicle for building up one another in faith (Equipping)
  •         Providing a vehicle for training people in ministry (Discipleship)
  •         Providing a vehicle to launch people in ministry (Mission)

And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25

        Jesus started his ministry on earth by forming a small group of 12 disciples. The goal of this group was for Jesus to pour his life into them so that they could do the same for others. (Matthew 28:19-20)

        Beginning with th book of Acts, small groups have been a common practice for believers. This practice continues to this day. (Acts 2:37-47)

        People are most challenged to grow in the context of relationships with other believers. (Proverbs 27:17)
