A Word from Pastor Bob   At Hope Free Church, the word "hope" is central to who we are and what we do. We are a group of people who believe that Jesus Christ gives us a reason to have hope for both today and tomorrow. We are a church that, like the community around us, is growing. We do not claim to have the answers for every question a person might have. Instead, we believe that the answers for the questions of today can be found in God's Word and we will help you search for those answers.

Do you have questions?  Are you looking for a place to belong?  Come Visit Hope!

What is an Evangelical Free Church??

The Evangelical Free Church of America is an association of some 1250 autonomous churches united by a mutual commitment to serve our Lord Jesus Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and obedience to the Word of God. We are committed to cooperate with one another in ministry and fellowship as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission which Christ has entrusted to His Church. The growing ministry of the EFCA currently extends to some 42 nations of the world, encompassing nearly 1400 additional congregations.

The term Evangelical refers to our commitment to the proclamation of the Gospel and to the authority of Scriptures as being inerrant in the original autographs and the only safe and sufficient guide to faith and practice.

The term Free refers to our form of church government which assures that our local churches are free from a central controlling body. Evangelical Free Churches depend upon active participation of pastors and lay people in the decisions and direction of the local church.
