What We Aim For in Worship
Our primary goal is to bring glory and honor to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Worship is anything we do or say in genuine response to his greatness that shows the seat of honor God has been given in our lives. We realize that this sort of worship takes place in every corner of our lives, and not simply in the context of a Sunday morning worship service.
However, one of the primary ways that God's people live out this honor is by gathering as his family to proclaim his goodness, study his Word, and celebrate the relationship with have with Him and His family.
When we do gather, it is our goal to design our worship services in a manner that reflects and encourages the rhythms of gospel centered worship that we hope are being exercised in the everyday lives of those who attend Hope Church. Worship can include, but is by no means is limited to "music," but to the extent that our corporate worship involves music we have set the following goal:
We aim to facilitate God-honoring, gospel-centered corporate worship that is accessible in form, attractive in expression, biblical in content, and participatory in practice.
In the execution of this goal we seek to insure variety and incorporation of a wide range of voices, instruments and styles; utilizing worship teams, choirs, and other mediums. The primary method utilized week to week is the Hope Worship Team.
