Join us for the Spring Course of Teaching Women to Teach
Rightly Handling the Word of Truth:
Basics of Bible Interpretation of the New Testament
Presented by Dr. Scott Swain
(from the Reformed Theological Seminary)
As we desire to grow as disciple-makers, we are excited to offer this course on how to study the Bible for ourselves and to teach others. This training is open to all women wanting to grow in their faith journey. Our prayer is to continually equip women as they read the Bible, meditate on it, live it out, and share it with others.
Dr. Swain will teach both the rules and the tools of interpreting Scripture. He will show us what to look for and how to dig deeper. Please join us for this six-session course of Teaching Women to Teach (TWT).
Dates: February 13, 20; March 13, 20; April 10, 17
Times: *10am - 12pm (Saturday mornings)

Materials to bring: Bible; notebook or clipboard with paper; pen or pencil
Location: Hope Church (Fellowship Hall)
Each month there will be two meetings:
- The 1st meeting is the video training presentation (10am -12pm).
- The 2nd meeting is a breakout session to go over the homework & have time to connect (10-11:30am).
Whether we are connecting with each other or reaching out to our community, this will help us be grounded firmly in God’s Word in all we do. God commands us, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth” (2 Tim 2:15).
