In a world of black hats and white hats - where everyone is either an ally or an enemy, what does it look like to be faithful in the Great Commission? How do we love our neighbors - those who speak, look, or act different than us?
Our vision at Hope Church is to be a "neighbor-loving church." This means, as men of God, we want to participate in the mission of God in the world by extending God's common and special grace to those with whom we live and work. But what does this practically look like? With the book of Jonah as Scripture's guidance Haddon Anderson, Execute Director of Stateline Youth for Christ, will challenge us with Biblical clarity and ministry experience as a missionary to the youth in Rockford
The retreat will be hosted at the wonderful Covenant Harbor retreat center, located in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Included in the retreat is 5 meals, and plenty of recreation time in the evenings and Saturday afternoon (including access to an indoor rock-climbing facility on Saturday). This retreat is open to all men high-school age and up.
