Ways to Give
Disciples of Jesus honor him by giving their time, their talent, and their treasures. Scripture depicts financial giving as an important form of worship, just as much as singing with our lips and serving with our hands. Giving not only honors God and serves others but develops in us a posture of obedience and generosity. Our motivation for giving is all that God has given us in Christ Jesus.
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you, by his poverty, might become rich." —2 Corinthians 8:9
